Union Township’s Winter Wonderland and Holiday Village took over the Town Hall area this season, and it quickly became a place people wanted to stay. Families arrived early, kids bundled up, and by the time the lights came on, the space was full of movement and conversation. It was busy without feeling overwhelming, which is exactly what a community event should be.
Events by Fun Services was proud to be a significant part of bringing this event to life. We worked alongside the township and event organizers to help fill the space with attractions that kept people engaged throughout the evening.
Keeping the Crowd Moving and Engaged
Winter events come with their own challenges. People want to be outside, but they also want something to do once they get there. We provided a mix of attractions that gave kids plenty of chances to play while giving parents space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Our attractions and carnival-style games stayed active all night. Kids loved them, and parents stood nearby chatting, taking photos, and warming up before heading off to the next stop. The energy never really dropped, which made the whole event feel steady instead of rushed.
Spacing and flow mattered here. We worked with the organizers to make sure everything fit the layout and didn’t bottleneck foot traffic. When people can move easily, they stay longer.
A Lot of Work Behind the Scenes
Events like this don’t just happen. Setup, timing, and coordination all play a role, especially when an event runs over multiple days. Our crew handled setup and breakdown efficiently and stayed involved throughout the event.
Because this was a seasonal event with fluctuating crowds, flexibility was essential. When adjustments were needed, we made them quickly. That kind of behind-the-scenes work is what keeps things running smoothly, even when the park is full and the schedule is tight.
A True Union Township Event
You could tell right away this was a Union Township event. Families ran into neighbors, kids spotted classmates, and people stopped to talk instead of just passing through. It wasn’t something people rushed in and out of. They stayed, caught up with friends, and let their kids enjoy the space.
That’s always the goal. Creating an event where people feel comfortable enough to slow down and enjoy being there.
